A Spanish dancer does a few kicks. Quality is very poor. Honestly, you can’t even tell that this is a woman from watching it, though it is documented that it was, so there wasn’t even the sexual thrill a lot of guys got from the very first moving images of women. I will say one thing here which is that upon preparing to post this review, I went looking for an image and discovered the above image; you might be wondering what I was on about with the whole thing about the quality being so bad you couldn’t even distinguish anything about the dancer. It seems the copy I saw of the film was of far less quality than the version this image came from. I decided to just add this note to the review rather than rewriting it or simply deleting the note about how poor the quality is. I guess with these early films, so much really is dependent on the source/transfer. 0 stars.
tl;dr – can’t even tell it’s a woman, unless you see a better quality version than mine that is. 0 stars.
