Season X (2016) - Julie Ng

This is the other documentary that’s part of The X-Files Season 10 package.  43:45, or whatever, was essentially a behind the scenes doc about the first episode the season.  This attempts to more or less do the same thing with the other five episodes of the season.  It’s around ninety minutes, so it is, once again, detailed in the way it looks at a lot of the things that go on in order to get an hour of television produced.  I enjoyed this one more than I did the first documentary, probably because this one actually goes behind the scenes on a couple of good episodes, like Founder’s Mutation and Mulder & Scully Meet the Were-Monster.  Still, this has exactly zero appeal for someone who isn’t a fan of the show and it’s a little tough for even me to get through an hour and a half of this stuff. It’s fine . . . 2 ½ stars.

tl;dr – ninety minute documentary takes us behind the scenes of The X-Files’ tenth season, if you care; I didn’t, exactly, but it’s well-made for what it is.  2 ½ stars.
