Okay, here’s something else from Hank’s Hamburgers. Yes, you will need to return to the restaurant since, even though this is a quite small candy, you will not have room for this thing after wrestling the One Pound Burger into submission. Anyway, these are exactly what you’d expect. It’s a ball of peanut butter, coated in a thin layer of chocolate and then refrigerated until cold. They’re served chilled and they’re really good. I mean, the chocolate is thin enough and cold enough that it’ll just kind of shatter, like an Eskimo pie shell and then . . . well, I’m a peanut butter fanatic, okay (remember, I like foods that are BROWN) and this is just really good. It’s also not overly sweet, which I like. Sometimes peanut butter deserts in particular get over-sweetened; heck, some peanut butter itself is way over-sweetened. I mean, it should have some sweetness, I guess, but I think you guys probably know what I mean if you’ve ever tasted actual peanut butter and also Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, right? These are a bit pricy, I think, a solid buck for just one ball, but they’re really good and you get a price break if you buy a dozen (or so I hear; the most I’ve ever bought is two). Anyway, this is a really good bit of homemade candy and just talking about them has made me want some. I call that a good sign. This isn’t one of the best candies you’ll ever have probably, but it’s darn good. Recommended. 3 ½ stars.
