Okay, here’s the last meal from Clanton’s we’ll talk about and, wonderfully, it’s the best. I’m not a pork chop fan, really. I couldn’t say why; I just don’t particularly care for them. But these . . . holy smokes, these are delicious. They’re liberally dusted with a variety of spices and grilled to perfection. The skin has just the perfect grilled, spiced flavor and the meat itself is the perfect texture. It’s tender enough but also chewy enough. It’s juicy and flavorful, not dry, as pork chops often are. This meal was amazing and delicious. I can’t tell you what a shock it was to find myself picking pork chops over chicken fried steak, but it’s the one I recommend. Highly, in fact. 4 stars.
Next time . . . oh boy. It’s by far the most negative experience I’ve had on this journey yet.
