What It Is
A yoga instructor talks the listener through a short workout session.
This show just recently hit its 100th episode. For a lot of the episodes, you get both a printable PDF and the twenty minute audio show. You use them both to walk yourself through the workout. The show has more or less made the transition to a video podcast lately, which is the better format, I’d say, for this kind of show. The iTunes archive has all the episodes.
What About It
So, I listened to a few episodes of this. I mean, speaking strictly for myself, totally useless. The show isn’t a course in yoga, it’s a series of sessions. In other words, this show isn’t going to teach you how to do yoga (not that I could have done it anyway); it’s going to give you ways to utilize what you already know. The transition to a video podcast is a smart move; I don’t think the show strictly worked as an audio podcast. Well, it still doesn’t “work” for me. But this is the pitfall of attempting to explore the eclectic world of podcasts. I really have no idea if people into yoga would like this or not. I know I didn’t.

Avoid Like the Plague If
You tried yoga once but much preferred pudding.
Best Entry Point
Again, I can’t really recommend an episode. So, iTunes archive.
Next time . . . oh, okay, this is a better one, one that I actually feel more qualified to talk about. It’s the audio version of a venerable television show, maybe a bit too venerable, if you know what I mean.
