So, I feel like the previous two videos had enough going on that you could argue for them being, yes, music videos, but also short films. I mean, they had characters and stories (albeit really simple ones) and even dialogue. This one probably shouldn’t be on IMDB as a short film, because it’s basically just a traditional music video. It’s just Bowie in a kinda cool abandoned building, playing his guitar and singing the song. Two notes: I don’t know that I’ve mentioned it in the previous two reviews, but David Bowie is still just one of the most charismatic people ever and secondly, I did no research so I have no idea who Indrani is or why he or she is only credited by one name. Anyway, yeah, 2 stars.
tl;dr – traditional music video has only Bowie’s admittedly significant charisma going for it. 2 stars.
