Really great episode. Things are ramping up for the season finale and there’s just a lot of great stuff here. The tables kind of turn on Charlie and George Newbern does great work with a couple of scenes. But the episode really belongs to the always brilliant Jeff Perry as Cyrus. He gets no less than three killer scenes in this episode; his speech at the beginning of the episode is just a perfect and brilliant take-down of Fitz & Olivia, but later he and Fitz have a very different kind of scene with both Perry and Goldwyn finding a great rhythm. And the mole is revealed and . . . well, I’ll be damned, they actually fooled me. And the funny thing is the show gave us our very first clue episodes and episodes ago, before the mole plot had even really started. That’s smart writing. Yeah, this is a really great one. 4 stars.
tl;dr – show ramps up its intensity as we head for the season finale; Perry’s at his finest here, but the rest of the cast is up to the task as well. 4 stars.
