Studio: Julie Klausner
What It Is
Comedian/writer/actor Julie Klausner monologues about her life and interviews interesting people.
The iTunes archive has the most recent 24 episodes. At one time, the show was weekly. Since the end of 2014, it’s been more erratic, with a couple episodes a month at most, sometimes only one and the occasional month off. For more episodes, hit up the website, but there’s a paywall for some of them. Episodes run an hour or so.
What About It
This isn’t a bad show or anything. Neither is it particularly compelling. Klausner is, I would say, better in her monologues than in her interview segments, which kind of surprised me. There’s usually a few chuckles to be had in the monologues, but not really enough for the show to be successful as a comedy show. It’s really more of a personal journal show that is occasionally funny and has interviews sometimes. I found this one pretty bland.
ASMR videos just aren’t meeting your “redheads that talk a lot” needs anymore.

Best Entry Point
Unless a show is super good, I don’t like to recommend episodes behind a pay-wall, so I’d say just listen to her newest one.
