What Is It
Heben Nigatu & Tracy Clayton discuss the issues of the day, sometimes with guests, over drinks.
Technical Details
This show started in 2015 and ended it’s run in December of 2017. All 149 episodes can be found on the iTunes page or at the show’s official site. Honestly, the official site is pretty clunky to navigate, but try your luck if you want. Episodes came out once a week and ran anywhere from thirty minutes to an hour.
What About It
Kind of a shame this one closed up shop. Nigatu and Clayton are really appealing personalities and they work really well together. The show was typically really funny and energetic. In fact, I always enjoyed the segments of just Nigatu and Clayton more than I enjoyed their interview segments. That’s actually pretty rare for me, but they were just such a great duo with such a great vibe that I liked their mostly unstructured ramblings more than the more structured interview segments. Regardless, I’m not entirely sure that the show deserves to go under “Philosophy” on iTunes. Probably just “Culture” or something would be better. Just so you don’t expect a serious dissection of philosophers and such.
