This show wrapped up back in November of 2015; episodes typically run 30 minutes to an hour and the iTunes archive has the final 200 episodes, which sounds like a lot, until you realize that the show actually ran for over 500. Check out the official site where the enterprise has transitioned into a really high-end theme park site. There are over 4,000 videos on their YouTube channel featuring interviews, tours and more. I don’t think you can actually access any of the podcast archive on the website though. iTunes archive is still functional though.
What About It
I’ve encountered a couple of these Disney park centered podcasts before and it really kind of blew my mind that podcasts this sharply focused actually existed. I mean, I’ve been to Walt Disney World; it was cool and I could talk about it for an hour or so, probably. But this show has managed well over four-hundred hours of content. But when you start to actually listen, you see just how massive the parks experience has become with new attractions opening constantly, various expos and conventions, media tie-ins, lodging, food, etc. This show features interviews, tours, reviews, that kind of thing. If you’re super into theme parks or Disney, this is for you. If you’re just a guy who enjoys going to a park every now and then, this will be way too micro for you. I’m in the second camp.
